The Salo Lab is currently in its recruitment phase and will officially launch in 2026 at Karolinska Institutet and the University of Helsinki. We are building an interdisciplinary team combining cell biology, cryo-electron tomography, advanced imaging, and structural approaches to understand how lipid flux and membrane dynamics shape organelle architecture.
